The York Charity Sleepout – 1st May
Join us at York City stadium and experience just a fraction of what it’s like to sleep rough. This event is raising money for SASH, @yorkcityfoundation, @restoreyork, and @kitchenforeveryoneyork who support homeless individuals, rough sleepers, and disadvantaged families.

Castle to Abbey Coastal Challenge – 21st June
Step up for a stunning 22-mile trek along the Cleveland Way. From Scarborough Castle to Whitby Abbey, this scenic yet challenging hike is led by @hikingadventuresuk, who’ll be there to guide and support you every step of the way.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks – 5th July
Join us for the ultimate hiking challenge! Led by @hikingadventuresuk, this iconic challenge takes you through 24 miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside, summiting three legendary peaks: Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m), and Ingleborough (723m)

Great North Run 2025 – 7th September
Take part in the UK’s biggest half marathon and help lead the fight against youth homelessness. Sign up with for one of SASH’s very limited Great North Run places and join one of the 57,000 runners starting out at the iconic Tyne Bridge and finishing along the sea front in North Shields.

Inflatable 5k – 20th September
Bounce, slide, and sprint your way through the world’s BIGGEST inflatable obstacle course at York Racecourse. It’s the most fun you’ll have on 5K…guaranteed!

Yorkshire Coast 10k – 19th October
The 10K course starts at the Scarborough SPA, it then routes round South Bay, past the harbour, round the headland and into North Bay. You get to run through the Open Air Theatre where there is a water stop and then out to the Sea Life Centre. Its then back along the coast road all the way back to the SPA. It’s mainly flat and an unofficial figure of around 200′ of climb over the length of the course.
