Corporate Fundraiser

Salary: £34,997 per annum (non-negotiable)

We offer 28 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time working), a 5% pension contribution and enhanced maternity leave and shared parental leave. SASH is a proud Living Wage Foundation Employer.

Location: Hybrid

The majority of our workforce are hybrid workers with agreed days in the office and at home. This post will be offered on a hybrid basis between home and SASH’s York Office which is based at York Science Park, Innovation Way, Heslington, York, YO10 5NP.

Hours: 37 per week (full-time)

We consider flexible working arrangements such as job shares and part-time working.

In addition, team members undertake occasional evening and weekend working to support the charity’s service delivery including host training and wider fundraising and awareness raising activities.

Our Charity

Safe and Sound Homes (SASH) is an ambitious and energetic charity working with young people to avoid or break the cycle of homelessness across North Yorkshire and the City of York by offering a place to stay in the homes of our exceptional Hosts. By keeping these young people safe during a time of crisis, we can support them to change their lives and build a positive future. Our ambition is that those we help never face homelessness again.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Fundraiser to join our team, to grow our corporate fundraising income stream. SASH has recently embarked on a strategy review and established new programmes of activity which will support vulnerable young people facing homelessness to develop the skills needed to move onto independent living in the future.

The role will require a basic DBS check.

Job Summary

A key position within a small and collaborative team, where you’ll focus on maximizing income from corporate partnerships. You’ll nurture existing corporate supporters and build and manage your own portfolio of corporate donors, identifying new opportunities and providing stewardship to secure ongoing support.
