Jade is a third year student of Social and Public Policy at the University of York.
They have been a Disabilities Officer at the university for the past year, focusing on providing community and representation for disabled students in and around the university.
Their dissertation is focusing on disability hate crime.
They are a former service user and volunteer of SASH.
As a trustee within SASH Jade hopes to represent the voice of those who may use the services and help support them in coming forward for help.
In their spare time Jade reads, focusing on diverse fiction and non-fiction.
Being part of several minorities, Jade hopes to provide better representation and access to opportunities.
