Helping us do more
We are proud of the strong partnerships we have established with many trusts and foundations and are keen to develop new relationships with funders who share our aims.
We are very thankful for the generosity of charitable trusts and foundations. From funding for specific services, salaries and activities, we are grateful to them for helping us in our mission to prevent youth homelessness.
As statutory funding declines the generosity of Trusts and Foundations enables SASH to continue helping young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. During the pandemic grants from Trusts, The National Lottery and Government emergency funding via Homeless Link helped sustain our work. Thank you to everyone who answered our call for support at this time.
Grants of any size can make a real difference and can also help us deliver our two main projects: Nightstop and Supported Lodgings.
Recent grants include:
- £10,000 from The Helvellyn Trust to develop new projects
- £2,000 from the Horncastle Chartitable Trust to support our work in the East Riding
- £10,000 from the Ruby and Will George Charitable Trust
- £2,500 from Joseph and Annie Cattle Trust to support our work in East Riding
- £3,500 from the North Yorkshire Crime Reduction Fund to provide activities
- £4,000 from Jack Brunton Trust
- £34,000 from Nationwide Foundation to provide Floating Support
Core funding is invaluable in helping cover our general costs and giving us the flexibility to identify our funding needs and priorities.
