Managing Stress and Anxiety
This session with Mark from the charity Mind looks at how stress and anxiety can impact our everyday lives. The presentation will explore what stress is, what stress can do to the body and mind and how to detect the signs. Anxiety is something everyone experiences at times, and feeling anxious is a perfectly natural reaction to some situations. But sometimes feelings of anxiety can be constant, overwhelming or out of proportion to the situation which makes everyday life difficult. The good news is there are plenty of things you can try to help cope and manage feelings of anxiety and stress. The video has lots of tips to help you look after your mental health and well-being.
Everyone has mental health and it’s normal to experience both positive and negative periods of mental health. If you’re struggling with your mental health, you can always reach out to your SASH support worker who will do their best to help you.
